The opening ceremony was attended byrepresentatives from leading Japanese shipping and shipbuilding companies,including Nissen Kaiun Co., Ltd., Toyo Kaiun Co., Ltd., Asagawa Shipyard Co.,Ltd., Higaki Shipyard Co., Ltd., and Unitra Maritime Co., Ltd.
Recognizing Japan as a core global marketfor shipping and environmental technology with continuously growing demand forgreen vessel solutions, ContiOcean Group established its Japan Office inImabari to respond more precisely to customer needs and shorten the serviceradius. The Japan Office represents ContiOcean Group's first overseasoffice since its successful listing on the Main Board of The StockExchange of Hong Kong Limited (Stock Code: 2613.HK) on January 9, 2025.With this opening, ContiOcean Group's overseas service network now includeslocations in Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Portugal, Norway, Greece andetc. Offices in other major global port cities are also under activepreparation, which will further expand theGroup's global servicenetwork.

During the opening event, ContiOceanannounced its supply achievements for Urea Water Equipment in the Japanesemarket: cumulative orders secured in 2025 include 17 sets from Nissen Kaiun, 3sets from Higaki Shipyard, 3 sets from Asagawa Shipyard, and 2 setsfrom Okochi Kaiun, totaling 25 sets – positioning the ContiOcean Groupamong the leading suppliers in Japan. Urea Water Equipment is a criticalconsumable for marine Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems, essentialfor vessels to meet the International Maritime Organization (IMO) nitrogenoxide (NOx) emission standards.
